I’m a passionate Creative Director who loves doing clever, beautifully designed work in any medium.
I worked for 5 years as Senior Art Director at Chemistry, Ireland’s best and most awarded ad agency. I was responsible for concepts, art direction and a bit of writing for TVC, print and digital in FMCG, retail, telecommunications, motor, financial and charity. In 2013 I founded Studio Yeah, a Melbourne based multidisciplinary studio.
I have 18 years experience in art direction, advertising and all things digital.
Things I love: I love my job, coming up with a clever idea and making it look great. I love working under pressure. I love a pencil as much as I love photoshop. I love pitches and a tough brief. I love that I’ve had the chance to work with some amazing people, and some incredible clients including Funlab, Strike, Holey Moley, Archie Brothers, The Department of Health, Coors Light, Telstra, Bank of Ireland, Peugeot, and Guinness. I loved the 2 years I spent travelling the world. I love making no-budget short films and music videos. I love the year I spent managing and curating an art gallery in Dublin in my spare time.
I'm pretty fond of my 45 international awards including: D&AD, CAPLES, IDMA, One Show Awards, ECHO Awards & a bunch of ICADs and the best designed independent book at the Australian Book Design Awards.
Things I hate: Sticky keyboards, blunt pencils and I really, really hate cucumber.
